Is posterous the faster traffic generator...

...with every new post made?

It seems to me that this gets instant traffic when you post, not like my main blog at all, which gets traffic but it's not often it comes as soon as a I make a post, it really depends on when I make the post.

Interesting to see but I am baffled as to where the traffic really comes from and I have installed google analytics to this posterous but as most of you know it shows the day previous in the stats.

I have noticed the search engines find the new post pretty fast too.

Odd, but something I will have to work out. :o)

Having today's stats would be good... that's the one good thing about using statcounter on blogs and sites. It gives you real time stats, well it is more or less real time.

Have any of you seen anything like this on your own stats?

Importing a blogspot blog into posterous...

...has anyone done it yet, if so what was it like?

What actually happens to the blogspot domain and contents?

Would appreciate any comments on this, thanks... :o)

Why posterous works for most...

... don't you write emails with a particular person in mind?

Writing a blog post itself can be so different as any blogger will know, yet using email to blog you give the email a touch more of you, some personality.
It's so much easier to get the words flowing when you approach it this way, even when not actually emailing to a specific person.

Think about who you are writing to in your mind before you start, surely your family members or friends are all very different in attitude, beliefs and ethics, morals, taste, etc, yet not so different from everyone else out there as we all for into some category of being, so write as if they are sat there with you.

I think it's one of the easiest ways to overcome writers block and even then write like you are talking to that person.

So.. who you going to email? :o)
